The Eufy S1 Pro
This is the model to choose if you want a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it the best navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It can even return to its dock to replenish its battery in mid-clean.
It's extremely quick and does a great job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.
The mopping performance is a little less impressive, but not by a lot. The rotating mop spins fast and makes use of 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to collect larger objects like broken toys and books.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install and works well. However, if you are buying this vacuum solely for mopping purposes it is important to pay attention to this.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a wide range of features.
The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and find furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and methodically. This will ensure a thorough and consistent clean and is also rapid.

The Shark Matrix Plus
If you're a professional with a lot of work or just want an organized home that doesn't require hours doing chores, the Shark Matrix Plus is a good choice. Its powerful performance, intelligent navigation, and long battery life make it simple to maintain a clean house with little effort.
The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it can handle mopping and vacuuming. The robot comes with two modules: a combined dry bin and water reservoir, and a separate mopping module with microfiber pads that snap in and out of place. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping but it does mean that you don't have to worry about changing out disposable bags or refilling the tank of water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its best feature was its accurate floorplan that it uses to create a route when cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers that help to protect certain areas of your home from being cleaned with a mop.
We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair of pets. It was able to capture a large amount of hair shed by our cats and even found its way into the nooks and crannies of our stairs which other robots struggled. It was silent and also had a few pleasant jingles that indicated when it was about to start or finishing its work.
The app was too easy and you had to switch the modules every time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app can't contain multiple maps, which can be a problem if you have a home with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a excellent choice for those who want a smart device that can mop and vacuum.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it has certain unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 milliliter dust bin.
The base also has a number of control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning job, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two of the buttons to turn off a child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.
Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it gets entangled in an obstacle, such as the power cable that is draped over a rug. It won't work until you manually untangle it. While it was not common but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni does not have a "stuck" status alert in its app.
The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't an issue aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.
On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for an industry dominated by boxy units.
